Candlewood Community Church

Hello, Candlewood Friends,
As I'm sure you have noticed, the world is experiencing a shift in the way it communicates. Social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and others have become the main venue for relating and staying in touch with friends and acquaintances. Realizing this, Ron and I decided to make a Candlewood Facebook Page in hopes to create a place online that the Candlewood family can have edifying interaction and stay up to date on news related to the church.
What Does the Candlewood Facebook Page Contain? The Page contains general information about Candlewood, important announcements, information on upcoming church events, prayer requests, discussions, pictures, music and videos.
How Do I Access this Page? If you are already a Facebook user, once you have signed in, you can search for "Candlewood Community Church" to find the page. If you are not a Facebook user, you can access the page by putting in the URL below.

How Do I Become a Facebook User? Go to www.facebook.com and click on "Sign Up." It is free to sign up and like Facebook's motto says, it will "help you connect and share with the people in your life."
How Is A Facebook Page Different From a Website? Unfortunately, for the non-Facebook-user there isn't a big difference between a normal website and a Facebook page. However, for Facebook-users, the main difference is that they have the ability to INTERACT with the page and with the other members of the page. For example, they can comment on a photo or be a part of a discussion. Another difference (in our case) is the speed in which the Facebook page will continue to change and morph while the website mainly stays the same.
It is my prayer that the Facebook Page becomes a place online that the Candlewood family can have edifying interaction and stay up to date on Candlewood news. So, please, come interact.
