Bible Text: Acts 4:1-20 | Preacher: Pastor Mike Gibbons | Series: The Church at the Beginning | Jesus said, “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” (Luke 12:11-12)
Jesus said this to the apostles years before it actually happened. In this week’s scripture study from Acts 4:1-20 we see it happening in the lives of Peter and John (after Jesus had ascended). These two, in front of a group of the highest Jewish leadership, experience a boldness that is nothing short of miraculous…and it is the same boldness that we are called to exhibit!
Would you describe your stand and voice for Christ as bold? Do you feel you need to be bolder as you represent Him in the specific place He has put you?
