Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness. We see that Jesus was tempted by the enemy’s familiar tactics. Jesus combated the temptations using the Word of God, and He stood firm in obedience to it. May we also stand firm in obedience to God’s Word in the face of temptation.
