Referring to poor and persecuted Christians in Macedonia, Paul said, "in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part."

Wait a minute! Extreme poverty leads to generosity? It does when it's mixed with God's grace and abundant joy. But why should we be generous and to whom should we be generous? Wait a minute! What really is generosity??!

This Sunday we'll we'll look at portions of 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 as we consider the blessings of generosity and look at the tight connection between it and joy.
