Candlewood Community Church

Luke tells of of the angel's message to Mary and the strong faith she demonstrated. In today's passage, Matthew describes a similar message to Joseph. Fo Joseph to go along with God's plan required every bit as much faith as what Mary had demonstrated. In going through with the marriage, this righteous man showed us that doing right is more than rigid uncaring adherence to the rules. Without compassion, there is no righteousness.
